I thought it was sort of an odd answer too. Almost like him saying “It’s not as bad as you all make it sound”, which sort of implies that Mac should be doing more with what he’s been given. Or possibly implies that the pressure sometimes isn’t necessarily due to the line itself, but due to Mac’s poor navigation of the pocket or failure to just get rid of the ball on time. I guess if your line protects fine but the QB steps up into the defensive lineman and gets hit, your line gets docked for giving up pressure even though you did your job, the QB is just an idiot.
