another terrivble draft class just like the rest

the in bill we trust or as i like to call them "the i kiss bb's ass" group didn't allow a single ounze of criticism after this draft. It started with the massive reach and ignorance of positional value with the strange pick and it did not get better

last years draft is trending into the wrong direction as well

What a terrible draft class that has turned out to be. Remember the usual suspects saying Bill "knocked it out of the park"? Just more ammunition for the Kraft's that Bill's time at GM are over.

I think Marcus is going to limited to a return guy and at best take over at nickel for Jonathon Jones. His size is going to be an issue covering WR's in the NFL.
I'm not quite ready to give up on Strange. I still think he can be solid.

He had ****ty coaching last year and a coach who needed to leave the team this year.

Giving a draft class a chance is being a fan with an optimistic outlook. Going out of your way to hate on draft picks withouy giving them a chance is being a fan with a pessimistic outlook.

Nothing wrong with waiting more than a year to make a determination. Many of the pessimistic fans hate on almost every player.

I remember Logan Mankins hate...that one was the best...Matt Light hate was very strong, vollmar hate was also memorable.

My point is that relax, stop spending so much time and energy hating shiznit.

This draft class was another all time faulk up. There will be more, even with a new GM. That's life.

He looked awful again yesterday after a decent couple week. I still wonder if he was drafted to be a guard in the stretch run experiment and now needs to bulk up.

He put on weight last off season. Maybe he needs more. Not sure.

He needs to add some size and strength.

There's a reason why the pessimism was taking place. Lots of better players were being passed up and as we've seen, the bad drafting has been going on for many years.

I hated the Mankins pick. My friends were laughing at how pissed off I was. I wanted David Baas. Mankins turned out to be a very good player.

I also hated the Seymour pick. Knowing Tomlinson would be gone, I wanted David Terrell with Deuce McCallister being 2nd.

Fun fact: LaDanian Tomlinson thought he was going to the Pats.

I didn't hate many of Bill's early years picks, it was post 1st dynasty when things were getting rocky.

The fact we released him vs holding on tells me Bill will
Stay next season.
Zappehour can you stop with your BB predictions I'm eating.

he's an everyday starter, and play has improved this year as his health has improved......might go with reach, but def not bust

working with david andrews at this stage of andrews career can't help

whatever works.

i'd take a bag of pistachios if that's what they offered. but to just flat out release him? nah. we need to fill too many holes to casually toss aside an asset.

Still a chance for a trade from someone at the bottom of the waiver list....doubt he clears waivers. This is still a passing league where CB's are at a premium.

Siddy Sow is a Beast! coupled with Onwenu.

He is a malcontent on a locker room already teetering on the brink. They needed to send a message.
So was Randy Moss. So was Corey Dillon. Until they went to a culture they could win in and felt utilized well.

The current regime shouldn't be here next year. A fresh start with the next set of coaches was worth seeing how it went. There was no downside. It's just an outgoing coach who lost the lockerroom getting rid of someone he wasn't going to coach in a few weeks anyways because he can't handle him.

Again, a reason Bill should not be in a position to make these decisions. If Jack Jones is that bad that he needs to be released, let the next guy make that decision. Not the lame duck who is flailing.

If he wasn't a total malcontent I would agree but if someone is a net negative in the locker room they have to go.

I get that. It should be someone else's decision to make at this point. I don't care if we ultimately release him. BUT it shouldn't be the guy that theoretically should be on the way out that is emptying the cubbard. Let him sit at home for the rest of the year and see what the new guy thinks and if they vibe.

This is the downside to all the "Bill earned the right to finish out the year".
