Man, what a rough QB class that turned out to be... five QBs taken top 15 (with all 5 being discussed as at least potential top 3 picks), and not one of them has really broken out at all. Lawrence has been steady but unremarkable. Fields has had flashes. But Mac is broken, Wilson is a disaster, and Lance is a never-was.

Cautionary tale for this upcoming class. You probably have to take one if they're available at 3, because you never know when you're picking that high with these kinds of prospects again, but don't assume you're just going to set the QB position and forget about it automatically. A lot still has to go right for a rebuild to take root.

yup, and many folks think that they can draft a QB and we will be in the playoffs. We need to sign a veteran who is capable of average Qb play for 2-3 years. Maybe, we'll hit on a QB in 2024, maybe in 2025, maybe in 2026.

But, we should not take our eyes off the prize. Our #1 goal needs to be to secure a better than average QB.
