Whats wrong with Jennings?N'Keal Harry and Anfernee Jennings should pay attention to this. Maybe Winovich, too, although he seems to have gotten the message.

been listening to the Rich Eisen Show i seeA NYJ linebacker knocks out Cam on a scramble to the sideline, Mac enters, rest Is history.
Full circle.
It seems Jones is an uber-fast learner and adapter which is a huge reason why he'll be starting this fall.i agree. Jones is a learn by doing type player. He is smart and needs to get on the field to learn and fix mistakes. He rarely makes the same mistake twice and processes info faster than any rookie i have seen in a while
Or every time a Pats WR makes the catch, we say, "That was a Mac-culate reception."Just start Mac-10 AKA Maccurate Jones. It is what it is..
Maccurate Jones. I like it.Just start Mac-10 AKA Maccurate Jones. It is what it is..
There's no emoji for this...maybe we need an Al Bundy version of the Goodell clown emoji....@ianOr every time a Pats WR makes the catch, we say, "That was a Mac-culate reception."

I have that vision whenever i talk about mac becoming a starter.A NYJ linebacker knocks out Cam on a scramble to the sideline, Mac enters, rest Is history.
Full circle.

So is CamHe will be the first to tell you that he is still messing up out there
Same for Camgrasping the system is a work in progress.
Same for CamHis practices ...have been inconsistent.
Learning what NOT to do? I think he will screw up a little whenever he gets the chance, but then will learn. I remember Aikman and Elway both lining up behind guards for snaps, they were so confused as rookies.sitting and learning
It wouldnt be as bad as Jerry Glanville saying "lets have a Bruschi" every time Teddy B made a play.Or every time a Pats WR makes the catch, we say, "That was a Mac-culate reception."

To me, the main benefit of sitting the rookie is so he can steadily build up to the nfl level through practice, film review, going in to less competitive game situations, etc. This allows them to not be thrown into the fire prematurely and destroyed mentally. With that said, I think you're absolutely right in this situation. We have the right rookie, the right coaching staff, and the right supporting cast for Mac to perform and develop well on the field. If the competition is close, which it is, the last reason BB rolls with Cam to start the season is because he sees some other value in the rookie holding the clipboard for a few games that I am unaware of. And, as always, I defer to BB.What does he learn sitting?
That was brutal. It wouldnt be as bad as Jerry Glanville saying "lets have a Bruschi" every time Teddy B made a play, when he was a broadcaster
Yeah, I got Labor Day.
Despite being one of Mac's biggest backers I've definitely been in the camp of "don't rush him too soon", and "it won't hurt him if he starts mid season". I figured that there was zero chance that Mac started the first game, or even early in the season unless Cam is injured. I was betting on more like mid-season, or even later if Cam played decent. At this point it's entirely possible.
