IMO he's either not injured or it's minor. He's played in 13 NFL games and Boutte has had maybe 1-2 good days of camp...that's it. I think it's a world of difference. Douglas may be the real deal in the slot but Boutte has a way to go.

Boutte has been making a push lately. Thornton is in because he was a 2nd round pick and his speed is off the charts. Bourne could be traded if they think Boutte is the next big thing.

Another attempt to dump Bourne. Won’t happen. Dumping Bourne for Boutte and Thornton would be giving up on this season and Bill won’t do that. He‘ll build the most competitive team he can for this year, not trade immediate contributors for future potential to develop. And he will take the team he builds this year much farther than anyone expects. I wouldn’t be surprised at a deep playoff run.

D Douglas seems like a upgraded version of Dion Branch a guy who gives you separation and a clear view of his numbers. Mac should have some very easy throws to him Douglas with his shiftiness is a QB's best friend.
