Patriots had one open roster spot coming into the day, and I see two new players at practice. TE No. 44 and OL No. 72.


Looks like someone else got cut before practice. I wonder whom.

Hope Dobson is okay. No way they cut him though. Probably an OL man was switched out. Usually these back end roster moves match like that. TE out (Derby) so TE in. OL in (??) probably OL out.

Very possible of course. Right now Edelman, Dobson, Tyms & Lafell are all out.

I would assume they would want to hold on to their WRs for a bit so they have enough bodies to run drills with and such.

Harland Gunn was released because Pats found out he smokes.

Certainly not jumping the gun, but I always take a minor issue more seriously when it's a recurring one. Dobson had a bad hammy last season and that is, in part, why he was shut down early in the season. I hope this does not slow his momentum. I've been hearing way more good than bad so far.
