I wondered if he would be a good NT prospect, but at 6’5” 305 he seems a little long and lean.

Roster already lists DL or DT as:
Big Milt
Barmore
Durden
Iton
Blay
Farmer
Gregory
Pharms
Taylor

That’s 9, before adding Rogers.

Depth and quality isn't measured by the number of bodies.

We have Williams, Barmore, Durden and Farmer.

I'm not sure that any of the rest belong on an NFL team.

We could have one or two more on the roster. At minimum, competition is good.

I agree. He is likely another possible PS backup.

However, I don't see more than 4 on the roster that I would want to see getting significant reps.

The top 3 are very solidified in Williams, Barmore and Durden. After that you have the recent draft pick Farmer who could develop, and Leonard Williams who has flashed here and there but is mostly a special teams player. Besides those five I don’t think there’s much else. Maybe Eric Gregory.

Reportedly Iton was looking good in camp a few days ago. He got mentioned a couple of times that I saw. And I thought Pharms had showed some potential early on but he seems to have tailed off.

One thing Vrabes seems to be doing well is churning the bottom of the roster. We’ve seen some UDFA rookies picked up recently. This is just another example.
