Don't get me confused I actually have hopes/expectations for Boutte. Bourne too.

For Baker and Polk it's more about not wanting to give up and giving them a mulligan.

I think Diggs and Pop are the only 2 locks.

And the other 3 will be tightly contested by 4 or 5 guys. Hollins and Boutte at the top of that group right now but I wouldn't get too comfortable with a rookie likely to be added and the possibility with real coaching that Polk and/or Baker could bring.

I don't think we carry 7 into the season like last year that was a bad decision that to me showed poorly on Mayo's and Wolfe's talent evaluations not to be able to choose their top 5. Even 6 is high, 7 was ridiculous. And they all sucked except Pop (and even he didn't have the 2nd year bump we hoped. Hopefully this year).

See for me SBB.. I'm going by the development.. Boutte has been developing, and is on a steady climb as well as pop.. both late round picks.. I want polk and baker to be contributing guys this season.. that only is a positive for Drake and the entire offense.. however I'll take baby steps from them.. meanwhile guys that we know can make plays for sure are diggs, Boutte, KB and pop. Where does hollins factor in?

I have diggs, Boutte and pop as roster locks.. now if we draft Hunter then let's revise this.. because now the whole game changes.. I'm with u on carrying 7 into the season..

I think there is a decent possibility not high but decent. But the thing is if it happens I think you'll agree with it at the end of camp so don't worry. It will be obvious to all that Baker and Polk improved or Boutte will still be here. Maybe all 3 improve and it's a tough choice but even then you'll recognize we aren't in the same place as today.

I'm not saying this will happen just that TC is the place for it.

I suspect that our four lock WR's now are Diggs, Hollins, Boutte and Bourne (unless Bourne is traded after being replaced by a top WR).

I do think that Vrabel wants to see what Josh can do with Polk and will give him a year to develop.

THAT GIVES US FIVE. We really don't need more if Polk is contributing.

there's Douglas and Baker, either of whom could take a 6th WR spot. There has been a lot of discussion about Douglas perhaps being the odd man out and not fitting in as well as the others. Also, a draftee could take that position.

I don't think he's anything special either: but his best year in the League by far was with Josh McD... lucky us. I'm hoping the Younger Polk and Baker make him and Bourne Expendable.

If some other receiver played well enough to knock Boutte off the roster it would blow my mind. But I’d be happy to have upgraded the WR corp. same for Bourne.

He attempted to throw it to the QB who had defenders barreling down at him and could only run with the football at that point. That was by far the least intelligent play I've seen from a player since the Colts fake punt. I'm quite shocked he wasn't benched the rest of the year after that.

I also want to know what Patricia was doing raising his arms on the sidelines right before it happened.

I wouldn't say as bad as having Gronk playing deep and then watching Drake run by him.

Gronk looked ridiculous and BB should have been fined by Kraft for behavior detrimental to the team. lmao
