There was no "go to" guy on this roster. Hopefully Diggs can get to that by mid season.

3. Throw into another non-existent window for the potential reception/pick.
Only time the receiver was open was if the D missed an assignment.

I agree with you about this move and this signing also tells me they are serious about building an offense for Maye.

Imagine if they continue that in the draft?

My hopes is trade down in the first them up from the second with what we get and end up with Simmons and Ebuka.
Now let’s say we got Scatebo in the 3rd and an IOL

We could really end up with a nice mix of veterans and young talent on offense.
Then imagine if Polk and Wallace were to live up to their draft slot.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you cant rebuild in a year or 2. You are witnessing it, and we had one hand tied behind our back (last years dysfunction)

How is Diggs going to magically help Boutte and Douglas reach their potential by taking snaps from them? How does it help Polk or Baker reach their potential. A potential NONE of us know.

No. You don't have to pay to get better. And you certainly don't over-pay for an injured player who is a locker-room issue. Clearly, you've learned nothing in your years of following football.

Diggs & Pop could not be more opposite. Pop is a slot. The Pats haven’t had an outside WR like Diggs since Moss.

you're just wrong.
Look it up - Diggs was used predominantly as a Slot WR last year in HOU. Because he's getting older, and he played a lot of slot in BUF in '22, and going forward he will too.
He's not going to dominate as a X WR. He was 2nd to Collins.
We still need a primary outside guy.
