Yep. It looked a little weird at the time since they are eating most of what he would’ve made anyway as dead money, but then the Raiders signed him to a much larger contract, so if he doesn’t get cut (which he probably won’t be since they guaranteed almost all of the deal) then the Pats will get that fully credited back in a year.

I don’t think anyone is beating out Zappe the kid has a confidence he’s very steady I don’t think he gets rattled and like his coaches said once he gets a chance at the job he’s not losing it.

The question is, will BOB believe in Zappe more than McSorley?

Clearly BOB is behind bringing McSorley in, and has no loyalty to Zappe.

It's hard for me to see how this isn't a threat to Zappe.

I think we go into camp with 4 or 5 QBs

I see one or two rookies with at least a camp invite.
If Mac is traded during the draft then then 3 or 4.

The completion at QB WR and OL will be very entertaining and number 2 back behind Stephenson.

Then BOB recruited him.

No he came over from Vanderbilt with Franklin. He was a QB and Safety in HS and then went to Vanderbilt as a safety. Franklin new he could play QB and brought him over to Penn St.

I watched him play in HS. Came down to my kids school and put on a clinic while kicking their ass his senior year. Best HS QB I have ever watched. Then again as far as I know he is the only QB I have watched play in HS that is in the NFL. So...
