I kind of like Glenn over Flores to be honest. He has a similar rep to Flores but does not have the lawsuit hanging over his head or any coaching tree connection to Belichick, so he is a cultural clean break. He did a great job with the Lions this year despite serious injury problems. And he's really handsome!

I'm having a difficult time locating his HC experience

He’s got that defense believing in the next man up mentality after getting decimated by injuries.

For what? DC? No way he gets picked ahead of Vrabel (or BJ) for Head Coach.

The lawsuit is one mark against Flores. But I don't think Flores gets a serious interview until he reconciles the Tua squabbles, too.

No, but they're doing their due diligence and doing a lot of interviews. They're making sure they get the best candidate this time rather than regret it five minutes after they name the new HC.

That's what I want as well. However, all I'm hearing is "done deal" etc for Vrabel.

Sure, but when we went looking to buy a house, we fell in love with one pretty quickly. We still looked at a lot more houses to be sure.

This might have something with people crying about the Patriots making a mockery of the Rooney Rule.

Could the news shouting it's all Vrabel coming from vrabel's camp trying to put pressure on pats...

30 years ago I'd take him opposite Gonzo.

They are looking elsewhere because he's a Raider now

Assuming Vrabel is the guy it's possible this interview is about getting to know him and judge whether they want to try to get him out of Detroit to be our DC.

If i really want to put on my tin foil hat it could even be Vrabel's suggestion.

I don’t think so
The Ownership and QB situation there will spook most HC candidates
Brady may recruit and sit in on HC interviews.
But the candidate knows TB is just their for consultant purposes protecting his 5% share of the team
Vrabel will have to deal with the red headed inbred and that was his first need. Strong ownership he can deal with
Vrabel specifically said he needs a QB he can win with
There is none in LV and the 6th pick in this draft don’t get you much at the QB position
I think Vrabel goes there to drive up his salary. Why wouldn’t he. But it is a business trip only
Just my take.
