Patriots Player Departure Patriots release JU JU

Not a bad guy at all, but a dumb hire. Not as good as the guy he replaced by a long shot: older and worn out, sort of like the GM who chose to take him on. I hope they both find a role on another team, if that is what they want, but we are better off without both of them.

Sic transit gloria mundi.

Whether we are better off with Mayo and Wolf, and whether whoever replaces Juju is an upgrade remain very much to be seen, unfortunately..

New depth chart:

1. Bourne (PUP)
2. Pop
3. Osbourne
4. Thornton
5. Reagor
6. Polk
7. Baker
8. Boutte
I don’t think Thornton is 4

The question is, "Given the option, would you want Myers on the team today?" The answer is No. Meyers is a nice guy and a good player, but middling.
If Wolf / Mayo were in charge when Meyers was still in NE, this management group would have overpaid to keep him like they have with every functional performer they've extended this offseason.

Demonstrate competency, get rewarded.....

BB was quoted calling Meyers "a priority" signing before the offseason kicked off, then he lets him walk for roughly the same amount of money Juju got? No, he got talked into Juju the same way he got talked into Mac Jones. And by talked into it, I mean Jonathan took back his team is building it in his and Wolf's image since collaboration began in 2021.
I think BB was the one that move Meyers because he was still sore assed that Meyers went rogue on that one boneheaded play where he threw it back to …was it Chandler Jones on the other team. Once you got in BB dog house ….really hard to get out ….Butler, Bourne, Boutte….countless others

BB haters think he was on the grassy knoll in Dealey Plaza 60 years ago. Nobody can rely on biased opinions.

Multiple different sources have said BB didn't want Juju or Mac, and the collaboration had to talk him into it. Reporters are correct until they say BB wasn't responsible for a lot of mess we watched the last three years... now they're lying.

Comical.

Could you tell us more about these homegrown NE WRs that BB really preferred and list them for all to see?

David Patten
Tim Dwight
Reche Caldwell
Doug Gabriel
Jabar Gaffney
Wes Welker
Donte Stallworth
Randy Moss
Chad Johnson
Brandon Lloyd
Danny Almendola
Brandon Lafell
Keshawn Martin
Chris Hogan
Brandin Cooks
Philip Dorsett
Josh Gordon
Mohamed Sanu
Antonio Brown
Damiere Byrd
Kendrick Bourne
Nelson Agahlor
Devante Parker
JuJu Smith Schuster
Jalen Reagor

And, there are at least 30 more WRs that were not NE draft picks that BB signed who did not pan out. IE: Austin Collie, Dedric Ward, Donte Moncrief.

BB sabotaged Corky because Kraft would not trade him as BB wanted to.
Can I get some dressing for this word salad above?

Your imagination doesn't pass the fact check. BB wanted to trade Mac because he sucked balls.

But you think Mac is good, so when can we expect him to take Trevor Lawrence's job?

It's funny how none of you "Mac was only bad because of Bill or weapons" bobos will stand behind Mac as a player now. You won't because you know he sucks.

Yup, you definitely feel that BB is the GOAT! How could anyone be confused? Especially after we bring the receipts.

Subpar drafting? Driving away the greatest player? Whiffing on his successor? Complete inability? And you are on record saying that BB is the GOAT. All stated in the same 24 hour period by you. Hypocrite. At least be honest.
This is where I leave you Bill bobos. He was the greatest coach of all time but he isn't infallible and things started going wrong down the stretch. That doesn't diminish anything he did prior but he still is the sole cause for his own firing.

Defend that wall!

That’s right it’s always someone else’s fault that’s why he and his .429 record post Brady was fired and no team in the league wanted him. Funny how that works lmao

Of course he's infallible. All the bad things were forced upon him or someone else's fault.

Imagine thinking Triumph of all posters is a Mac Jones fan

I am not a BB hater, but there's no debate there were many questionable moves these last few years beyond Juju and Mac. If these two did not belong to Bill, which I still do not 100% believe, it really doesn't matter in the scheme of what happened here.

Everyone loses a step.

If he didn't want the players and the players end up sucking, especially at the most important position on the field... that's on them.
