One of the worst signings in patriots history. Good riddance
Jonno Smith the best move BB did as GM was getting some Team to Trade for him.

Bill really didn't have too many bad free agency deals. I remember a stretch with some of those washed up defensive backs like Leigh Bodden, Shawn Springs, and Deltha O'Neal and then that Bengals defensive tackle that never played. Juju though will be hard to top for me though.
9 Superbowl appearances and 6 Superbowl championships in 20 years, and BB didn't have too many bad FA deals? Shocked to hear the "president of the BB hate club" admit that.

You have gone soft. 20/20 hindsight vision is common for you, so I do not normally bother to respond. Now that you are saying "didn't have too many bad free agency deals" is too hard not to point out your BB hyprocrisy. Backing down less thas a year after BB left?

Dude, you are trying to cover up your continued errant PatFan's posts that are tainted by absurd BB hate. Nice try, we remember your BB hate posts.

Dude, what happened to the Baker and Polk are superstars posts? Rememebr Wolf is GM of the year posts you made just last week? Baker and Polk look pedestrian in their first pre-season game and you run and hide? Wallace and Robinson are playing with the 3rd team scrubs, and you have no comment? Your "Wolf is the GOAT GM" posts are embarrassing!! At least admit you have no idea when evaluating talent.

Our #1 and 2 QB's each played a series and you come out of the wood works. Yeah I really want to see my WR's playing with Zappe. That's a low blow even from you One-if. It's not over yet I'm going call you out.

The Wolf will have the last laugh Doom on you One-if doom on you.

Sounds farfetched.

Meyers lost the Raiders game when he tried to throw the ball back to Corky for the last shot offscript. BB sabotaged Corky at every turn because he went crying to people outside the NE organization.
Farfetched? BB always preferred his homegrown players versus outside free agents.

BB didn't sabotage Mac, Mac sucks balls.

Give us a break, BB couldn't have sabotaged Joe Burrow or Justin Herbert... only Mac because he stunk.

Was this ever verified? Who was the likely source? Not saying its not true.

I thought it was true that Juju was a player BB always liked.

And I believe there was some truth to Meyers outspokeness that had a little something to do with it too.
BB was quoted calling Meyers "a priority" signing before the offseason kicked off, then he lets him walk for roughly the same amount of money Juju got? No, he got talked into Juju the same way he got talked into Mac Jones. And by talked into it, I mean Jonathan took back his team is building it in his and Wolf's image since collaboration began in 2021.

Call me out all you like. Wallace and Robinson were playing with the 3rd team OL because Brissett and Maye only played one series each? You make no sense at all and can not admit when you are totally clueless.

Dont the Pats recoup some of JuJus guaranteed 2024 salary if he signs with another team?

I believe that they do and thats another reason to cut him now. Surely a WR will go down for the season and JuJu will get some looks.

They will most likely gain back cap space equal to what he signs for elsewhere in the form of an offset credit, but since he has such a sizeable guaranteed salary, any other team who signs him is just going to pay him the veteran minimum. They’d have to pay him MORE than the amount he’s already getting from NE for it to make any difference for him, and that’s never going to happen obviously, so they’ll simply pay him the minimum and the rest will get covered by NE. So effectively they may see a few hundred thousand come back their way when he signs somewhere.

I don’t know who you are but get a grip.

Terrible decision to dump him today.

They should have waited until Monday.

See fridays are info dump days, and this will probably get caught up in all the other info dump moves, get lost and not discussed.

If they did it on Monday, then we could be happily talking about this all week.
Studies have statistically shown there's less chance of an incident if you let him go at the end of the week...

Bill didn’t want Juju, he wanted to extend Meyers. Jonathan, Wolf and co overruled him according to Callahan.
Where was this stated. Did anybody else say this ? This just seems to be posted by bills fanboys. Don't buy it .

Bill offensive side drafts and off-season signings were one of the worst .

We lucked into Edelman and gronk in 2010s and after that just years of inept drafting ...

Bills offensive acccumen after 2010s could be considered a 0 or maybe negative.
