Happy to see them going with the young guys. If we get lucky they will play well enough that receiver isn’t a priority next offseason. They could focus on an OT or one of the really good defensive players in the next draft. The top of the next draft is loaded with really good DL, Edge, and cornerbacks.

I think they can get something for Zappe. Only a conditional 7th or a late round pick swap, but QB's who have starting experience still have enough value in the league to warrant something. But I agree, whether it's trade or cut, that should happen sooner rather than later, both to make way for more Maye/Milton snaps, and as a favor to Zappe who's been a good soldier through all this.
