In the last 23 years, the Patriots have taken 3 WRs in the top 50. Tyquan, Harry, and Bethel Johnson.

Now, you can say their record of failure means they shouldn't select WRs in the top 50, but for me what stands out is: 3 in 23 years.

Well, knee jerk reaction on my part here but how pathetic is that? I get that we’ve got a bazillion starters missing but my goodness. This has got to be one of the least confidence building offseason programs I can remember during BB’s tenure. Them again, I have a short memory. I still feel it’s a terrible message to send to your team and QB if that does indeed be what happens.

Tore his ACL in December, so it would be a surprise if he’s ready to play. Maybe they’re willing to carry him on PUP to start the season with the hopes of him contributing down the road.

300 lb with a knee issue. Unless he gained 40-50 lbs and he’ll be ready in 30-60 days no thank you. I prefer a NT…even if he’s average at best.

I think that third TE (if there is one) is one of the better under the radar camp battles.

I don't know if either guy has decisively beaten the other. I am betting neither guy makes the initial 53 and both are cut. Then after some players are moved to IR, they'll bring one back to the roster. Maybe both are still available, but if one is scooped up by another team, they'll go with the other. Doesn't seem likely they'd lose both TEs during the first day of cutdowns.
