Falcons were being reported as trying to trade up
Miami has a lot of picks and they overreached for a tackle they were for sure involved in talks, Tampa did the right thing

Green Bay traded up from No. 30 to Miami’s spot at No. 26. Green Bay gave up its 1 and a 4 to get there.
Based on draft value points, the Pats slightly won the trade (765 vs. 760). Again, it's not the popular move but the reality is, the draft is always a crapshoot. The more you up your odds (i.e., getting more picks) in rounds that have good talent, the better off you typically are at hitting on a few of them. It's a good trade. Lots of talent in the 2-4 rounds. That's been talked about for months. No shot in hell BB was going to wait from #23 to #87 and BB isn't one to sell the future (next years picks) to move up. Not shocking and honestly not a bad move. Tomorrow night will be awesome. Was the trade value even equal !?!?
Pats were never selecting a QB this high. Stidham is the guy. For better or worse.
