qB coach sure, Oc I’m not sold.
Didn't he also get fired by both teams? He was the OC for Bills and Browns, so has the exp. people were *****ing about.
d%#*!@t, we hired Alex Jones.
I love this choice! Tons of experience, a west coast system, former QB, longtime QB coach, and got a ton of offense out of a revolving door of QBs last year including the corpse of Joe Flacco. Worked with Aaron Rodgers during his prime as his QB coach. There’s a lot to like here. Don’t know why people are so damn whiny. If they hired some 32 year old with no experience that would’ve been wrong too.
That would really make Bowles a genius since he actually destroyed Eagles in the WC.A few weeks ago, I was reading about how the Eagles went from looking like the best team in football to sucking. An article I read stated that Belichick provided the league a blue print of how to defend their offense from when the Patriots played them earlier in the season. He had a terrible year, but still destroyed the best team in football.
So we’ve gone from the league’s greatest strategy mastermind and overall greatest coach to this all star cast of characters.
I think when people said they wanted experience they were hoping for someone who maybe had been a HC before or who had at least been calling plays the last few years. But I guess when you hire a HC who never was a coordinator this is par for the course. He was the OC for Bills and Browns, so has the exp. people were *****ing about.
The Bills were a dreadful team back then. The entire coaching staff got fired.Didn't he also get fired by both teams?
