Who told you that nonsense? They should have told you that, in the case of Bill O'Brien, he personally decided that he would not (rather than could not) leave Alabama after only one year, given that he had personally assured Nick Saban at the time of his hiring that he would stay for 2 years as Alabama OC.Wait a minute. I was told that college coaching contracts are iron-clad and unbreakable. How did such a thing happen? Does Nick Saban know?
What tells us they are better than Troy Brown?Would love to see Jefferson or Mccardell next.
In addition too. What tells us they are better than Troy Brown?
Change for the sake of chance doesn't make sense.
Big gamble by Belichick. I don't like it. Oh well.
They are seriously lacking in volume of coaches right now. There’s room for both Brown and Jefferson on the team.In addition too.
Different voices plus CJ said that Jefferson is the best coach he’s ever had.
I’m not sure why most folks don’t understand this (or maybe they just choose not to for the sake of enjoying being negative?) Bill O’Brien prides himself on giving minimum 2 year commitments when he signs as a coach. To quote him - “I’m not a 1 and done guy.” This was never about contract enforceability or deference to Saban. It’s not hard to grasp. The Patriots should also expect him to be here a minimum of 2 years.Who told you that nonsense? I'm good w/ that. IIRC last year Troy was helping Ivan with RBs and KR/PRs on STs.In addition too.

people: GO GET AN ACTUAL OL COACH
Belichick goes and gets one
people: NO NOT HIM
beggars can't be choosers
You've just deftly and succinctly characterized 75% of this board.I’m not sure why most folks don’t understand this (or maybe they just choose not to for the sake of enjoying being negative?) Sure. He decided to stay removed from his family, make more money, and get out of a situation that was never a good fit for him. The same man of character who bailed on Penn State for the NFL after replacing Joe Paterno at his alma mater. Poor Nickie Saban. He would just have had to sign Rees away from Notre Dame a season earlier.Who told you that nonsense? “Those who can, do; those who can’t, teach.”Hopefully he's a better coach than he was a player.
If he's endorsed by scar than he's absolutely legit!!A competent offensive line coach who’s endorsed by Scar…what are you complaining about?
Anyone other than judge and Patricia on the offensive side should please anyone..This pleases me even more than the BOB move.
I’m thinking or hoping BoB will be able to help Troy become a better coach. What tells us they are better than Troy Brown?
