What is the improvement a so-called #1 WR will bring to this receiving corps?I'm lost. Is there a reason some people seem to be against having a number 1 receiver? Almost as if it's a bad thing or something? Or is it just mocking people that act like we absolutely need one... Or are you actually against getting one.... Because the latter is just stupid.
I’d be okay if it were to be our RBs, Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. No one is against a top 10 WR catching balls from The Drake.
Why does it have to be a WR? If they find Gronk 2.0 then sign me up.
The question is...in pursuit of a Super Bowl title, where is it on the list of priorities? For me, it's not in the top 4.
At the end of the day a QB needs to be really good and the offense diversified. RBa running and catching. WRs and TEs making big plays, etc.I’d be okay if it were to be our RBs, Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson.
It's even more incredible when you consider our 4th quarter scoring went down. From 30th to #2:
#30: 289 points
#2: 490 points

Pretty incredible.
You act as if Stefon Diggs doesn't exist and didn't help turn around the entire WR room. Adding a WR1 is exactly what this offense needed and got to rejuvenate it. Even though he's no longer a top 5 WR, Diggs still allowed everyone else to slot in behind him and become better.Good thing we traded the bank for AJ Brown and got a real X. This offense would be nothing without a true #1.
That will happen this offseasonGood thing we traded the bank for AJ Brown and got a real X. This offense would be nothing without a true #1.
This one is direct reflection of the terrible QBs we have faced. For this stat, strength of schedule is a factor. For scoring, not as much since we faced some top 10 defenses. Was pretty impressed with our point differential too.
170 point difference.
Scrolled down over the past several seasons and it holds it own.
Then you get to the 2007 Pats.
315 points more than their opponents. Largest disparity ever.
Unbelievable.
If they had a JJ kind of guy, damn right. Never *****es about anything. Other than that, beef up the 0-line and get some LBers. Tea is pretty complete at that point imo.
That will happen this offseason
We have a top Offense. We NEED nothing to be a top 5 Offense next year other than health. Obviously, we will re-sign Hooper or an equivalent TE.It is kinda amazing since the Pats had a crap running game for most of the season and Maye only had one 300 yard passing game.
Why do so many people think this matters. This year proved it is better to have options than one person a team can shut down. Would it be better yes but is it a need noWe need a numbah 1 receivah.
