As we edge closer to the first preseason game this Thursday night, the time seemed right to take stock of what we’ve learned thus far, and pick out a few players who seem to have been very pleasant surprises to this point in training camp.

Why not for us?

I'm a big believer in making the most of an opportunity.

He's done that. I haven't heard any WOW moments from Slater so far. Edelman has had an OK camp and seems to be PS material to me.

In Nunn, you've got a guy catching everything under the sun, in spectacular fashion.

I say if the kid continues to produce and shows well during pre-season games...he's on the team.
