Is everyone satisfied with the WR department? I know we use TEs heavily but to me it seems like Danny and Julian are both not 100% to begin the season, Mitchell is injured, so not sure about his return. So the only healthy WR we have is a poor man's Edelman, Chris Hogan.

I bet we are going to see some innovative, TE heavy offenses this year.

Amendola not on PUP anymore? He's probably doing a lot better than it is being reported.

If you think Hogan is a poor man's Edelman, I think you need actually watch Hogan. He's not the same type player at all

No I am not satisfied with our WR department. Not enough height arguably no deep threat, and very injury prone. Edelman has only last 16 games one time in the last 3 years. If he has to miss any games this year our WR core becomes very mediocre. Edelman and Amendola are both injury prone and if either get injured, Mitchell and Hogan are not 1 and 2 material. Mitchel too green and hogan not good enough. Amendola isn't either in my opinion

This team could use a big physical number one to compliment our other receivers. Offer the Browns a third for Gordon.

Make better use of a third round pick than wasting it on Shawn Crable Taylor Price Geneo Grissolm

Sandbagging. I bet if it had been a reg season game he'd be out there.

Should have offered a 3rd rounder. BB cut his anyway.

If they use 4 at the same time, as long as they tell the refs they line up as eligible OL 2hrs and 45 minutes ahead of time it could really surprise everyone but the opposing defense

I just wish we had more upside at WR. Mitchell is the only guy with upside and we don't know yet how he will work out. Hogan and Amendola are what they are, dependable but not game changers. Edelman is the one stud we have but he is highly injury prone these days and on the wrong side of 30.

I hope we make a move at WR and get a potential X or Outside WR. Someone that can open up options underneath. Mitchell could be that guy I'm hoping he is but it would help to bring in one more good young guy

Is that now the narrative on JE11 now? Hes was highly dependable WR in 2013 and 2014, suffers a freak foot injury last year and now hes highly injury prone? I think you are just bit too early in making that proclamation.

Didn't Edelman get a foot injury in 2012 as well?

Four tight ends on the roster plus Develin. Interesting.

I heard the Pats r working out Randy Moss

Edelman, Amendola, Hogan, and Mitchell. Has there ever been a hall of fame QB that has been asked to do more with less at the WR position? Why is it we have the greatest QB of all time, yet a first round draft choice has not been invested in 15 years at the WR position for our hall of fame QB? Why has our front office been unable to draft and develop early round WR talents for Tom Brady?

About time the patriots re think there WR evaluation process?

Aaron Rogers, Peyton Manning, Ben Rothlisburger, Eli Manning all have had far superior weapons at the WR position.

Please leave all TE talk out of this, I am purely talking the WR position

Wow u really r a Debbie Downer. At least you're from NC which means I probably won't hear u at the games yelling at me to "SIT DOWN"

************, enough with the crying over WR, they are going with a two TE offense with four TE and a FB, and backs who can make plays in the passing game early to give Garrapolo the best chance for success, a downfield passing game right now is the least of their worries. There will be plenty of opportunity to tinker as the season goes on and deep threats are the most overrated part of any team. I like the roster and love the fact they could add Brady, Lewis, and Ninkovich in October. If they go 3-1 out of the gate then the season is going to be really really good. Pretty healthy and a strong roster heading into the season with big time help coming in October, time to
Put away the hankies and look forward to another Lombardi.

Damn there's a lot of talent on this roster.

Except at RB and OL, and the health at WR is very, Very VERY shaky.

As a matter of fact, the personnel on offense is the Least talented of the Brady era.
