Jets/tiebreaker story is:

If the Jets beat the Pats, they also have the tiebreaker, and the Pats need to make up >1 game on them somehow (whether before or after the Jets/Pats game, so I'm using the term "make up" loosely).

If the Pats beat the Jets -- umm, I doubt anybody has done a reliable calculation yet. It could be the reverse of the situation if the Jets beat the Pats, or it could be that the Jets just need to make up a single game elsewhere.

If the Pats tie the Jets, the Jets have the tiebreaker. Fortunately, this is unlikely.

Many people disregard that tiebreaker when there is still a game to go against them. I do, and not just when it goes against us, always. Because by itself it will never become meaningful -- only if the Jets win the second meeting.
