Patriots 2025-26 Schedule Released

A lot of these easy 2025 schedule teams play NE.

If NE gets it together there goes the easy road for the Jets and Bills.
Last season guys were lackadasical, giving half effort even wolf saying we will have less of a hard ass approach..

It's one thing to go 4-13.. but it looked even worse. This was a directionless team that got lucky and landed Drake at #3.. he and gonzo were the only reasons to watch games last season.

Pats will go 4-2 in the division this season. Sweep the Jets, split with the Bills and Dolphins. At Miami week 2 will be tough because of the heat and the Dolphins offense will be fresh. Late in the season is where they breakdown. Pats are going to make the Bills sweat this year.
Exactly what I said... the south Florida humidity and heat is real thing. Imagine in a helmet and pads running around in it.. geesh... the dolphins will get lucky and hit a few plays on Marcus Jones for a score and we lose by a FG or TD late in the fourth. But I love it RM.. we aren't going to be a joke this season.

Mayo was just way over his head, but I find it hard to believe that he did not tell Kraft that he needed time to acclimate to his job.

You think Mayo was blindsided by Kraft late in the year? Do you think Kraft told him he was safe only to change his mind after week 18? Kraft kind of mentioned this in the press conference that he was going back and forth all year and couldn't make his mind up.

Oh without a doubt... he absolutely did and RK was full aware if it... the pressure was mounting to lose out on Vrabel and the season faltering each week made it really easy for RK to realize he made a mistake. It takes real humility for a billionaire to admit such.

Yep that's true.... i believe optimism was high after week 1.. but then it all eroded with each passing week..

As I've said before, Mayo landed on the "perfect" level of incompetence. Just enough that they were in a position where they needed BUF to win to get the #1 pick, but not so much that it made firing him (given Kraft's recognition that he put Mayo in a terrible spot) the only plausible outcome.

9-11 wins are a real possibility. I’m predicting 10-7 and a wild card spot.

You think Mayo was blindsided by Kraft late in the year?
Yes, because Mayo stated that he would be a better HC in 2025.

Kraft never stepped in with any kind of s statement of support for Mayo. The opposite sort of happened when Jonathan was visibly upset over the play calling and Kraft just let it ride.

Agreed and Jonathan is the king of plausiblilty denial... he's never present for anything.. as he always has a meeting planned ext..

7 wins. You people are wildly optimistic.

You've been pretty down on this team this off season, DPF.

Rodgers will step in at the 11th hour.

Pitt is scheduled at nyj to open the season. I think those in the know are very confident he’s a Steeler. 2 qbs going against their exes

Playing Miami that early advantage us... it's still summer time or Indian Summer. It's not like we're playing down there the end of the year or mid season.

It’s not a Pats schedule if there’s not at least one team the Pats will be playing coming off their own bye.

This season it’s only the Bengals. That will be a tough one on the road and we’re not playing them in September this time.
We coming off a mini-BYE ourselves though…

Looking at this in terms of whether the Pats are likely to be favorites or underdogs for each game.

1 --- Raiders (6½) --- Favorite
2 -- @ Miami (8½) -- underdog
3 --- Steelers (8½) --- underdog
4 --- Panthers (6½) -- Favorite
5 -- @ Buffalo (11½) - underdog
6 -- @ Saints (6½) --- Favorite
7 -- @ Titans (5½) --- Favorite
8 --- Browns (4½) --- Favorite
9 --- Falcons (7½) --- tossup; home team=Favorite
10 - @ Bucs (9½) --- underdog
11 - Jets (TNF) (5½) -- Favorite
12 - @ Bengals (9½) -- underdog
13 - Giants (MNF)(5½) - Favorite
14 -------- Bye ---------
15 -- Buffalo (11½) ---- underdog
16 - @ Ravens (11½) -- underdog
17 - @ Jets (5½) ------- underdog
18 -- Miami (8½) ------ underdog weather=Favorite
DraftKings has Pats favorites in 11 games and underdogs in 6

Raiders: -3.5
Steelers: -1.5
Panthers: -3.5
Saints: -3
Titans: -1.5
Browns -5.5
Falcons: -3
WK 11 Jets: -5.5
Giants: -3
Wk 17 Jets: -1.5
WK 18 Miami: -2.5

Underdog games:
WK 2 Mia: +2.5
WK 5 Buf: +8.5
Bucs: +4.5
Bengals: +4.5
WK 15 Bills: +4.5
Ravens: +8.5

Titans game is the 3rd away game in a row, which teams are 8-17 in 3rd straight road games since going to 17 games, this may account for it only being -1.5 despite Vrabel's return.

Disagree. September games in Miami are Automatic losses.

Some negatives in this schedule are: latest possible bye week for the 2nd straight year, we're in Tampa the week after their bye, and we have 3 straight road games early in the year.

Some positives: our home game vs the Bills is right after our bye, we have 10 days off before playing in Cinci, and we don't pay a price for the Monday night game cause our bye is the next weekend.
