For my fellow degenerate gamblers:
We had late one last season too.. it has it's benefits.. we will be playing meaningful football this year.. Vrabel will allow guys to have days off and guys today have the best of the best for recovery to endure the season. That’s a late bye…ew
The 8-17 record in teams' third straight road games is interesting. It certainly adds some intrigue given that exact scenario is New England's Week 7 game down in Tennessee.
Touching on the Steelers game.. I don't see how we are underdogs.. they have no QB..Looking at this in terms of whether the Pats are likely to be favorites or underdogs for each game.
Basing this primarily on all team's 2025 win total predictions.
Also a couple of curveballs: Miami in the heat, Dolphins playing in the cold, and three consecutive road games is always difficult. Thursday night games are typically more difficult on the road team due to the short week, and the Pats TNF game is at home - but it is an extremely short flight (Jets), so that may be a non-factor.
Patriots are still listed as over/under 7½ wins in 2025.
1 --- Raiders (6½) --- Favorite
2 -- @ Miami (8½) -- underdog
3 --- Steelers (8½) --- underdog
4 --- Panthers (6½) -- Favorite
5 -- @ Buffalo (11½) - underdog
6 -- @ Saints (6½) --- Favorite
7 -- @ Titans (5½) --- Favorite
8 --- Browns (4½) --- Favorite
9 --- Falcons (7½) --- tossup; home team=Favorite
10 - @ Bucs (9½) --- underdog
11 - Jets (TNF) (5½) -- Favorite
12 - @ Bengals (9½) -- underdog
13 - Giants (MNF)(5½) - Favorite
14 -------- Bye ---------
15 -- Buffalo (11½) ---- underdog
16 - @ Ravens (11½) -- underdog
17 - @ Jets (5½) ------- underdog
18 -- Miami (8½) ------underdogweather=Favorite
So nine games as favorites, eight as underdogs.
If it all works out as it appears on paper, that's more wins in 2025 than in the previous two seasons combined.
NFL betting: Over/unders for all 32 teams; Eagles, Chiefs among those with highest season win totals

I hear you. Was basing all that on the predicted win totals.Touching on the Steelers game.. I don't see how we are underdogs.. they have no QB..
Yes, oh I definitely see what you were doing there. Triumph put up a graphic last week of play of predicted teams for this season.. essentially it went off last years post season team. I definitely feel like we will be Favorites. The whole entire feel..and direction just seems so much better than the past few seasons.I hear you. Was basing all that on the predicted win totals.
But yeah, I agree - I think the Yinzers slide back in 2025.
Add in the fact that the game is in Foxborough, and I would expect that by the time it happens, the Patriots will be favored to win.
I see 10 Wins maybe 11 based on that Schedule. I think Miami is coming back to the pack: Tua winning against us will be over in the Vrabel era. We should sweep the Jets...hoping for a split with Buffalo who's window is beginning to close.Looking at this in terms of whether the Pats are likely to be favorites or underdogs for each game.

Twin.. think of something here.. we lost 7 one score games last season ... Vrabel wins at least 5 of them.I see 10 Wins maybe 11 based on that Schedule. I think Miami is coming back to the pack: Tua winning against us will be over in the Vrabel era. We should sweep the Jets...hoping for a split with Buffalo who's window is beginning to close.
Rodgers will step in at the 11th hour.Touching on the Steelers game.. I don't see how we are underdogs.. they have no QB..
That's even better.Rodgers will step in at the 11th hour.
Its likely his last shot. That's even better.
He was in a perfect situation in GB he should have never left. Like Wilson he wanted out.. they thought the grass was greener on the other side.. they are now just once great MVP caliber players and now just NFL journeymanIts likely his last shot.
