Passing of the tourch.

"tourch"...what the hell is going on with our educational system? here we have an oblivious moron incessantly trying to drill home his point...when his opening header is an exercise in sub-moronicism.

What would be useful in cases like these is a "pat on the head" emoji.

lol I was told using Genius sarcastically is NOT COOL

Unless your sarcasm is flying over my head I would love to understand the difference between "Winner" and non-sarcastic "Genius".

There are tons of times for Genius to be used non-sarcastically.. example: better ideas for the Pro Bowl, I use it randomly here and there for ideas I like, but occasionally I use it sarcastically

I get that but where exactly is the difference when to use Genius and Winner. If the former is supposed to be non-sarcastic.

This to me is the biggest give away that Genius is supposed to be sarcastic and thats how I have been using it.

I guess everyone is different, but to me Winner is pretty universal where it can used for a good idea, or a funny gif or picture, or a nice comeback, or a good explanation etc... whereas Genius (non-sarcastic) I use for ideas/comments that have that extra juice...

But no QB in the HISTORY of the NFL has done what he has and it was his rookie season. The numbers and eye test don't lie guys. The torch has been passed.

Not his rookie season. You don't even know your players.

Parcells used to use "genius" sarcastically all the time, usually targeted at a certain DC of his.

Apparently sitting for a year learning the offense doesn’t count. By this logic brady one-upped mahomes by leading his team to a super bowl his “rookie” year.

Goat Brady news. On here 3 times

Mahomes was very good in his first year as a starter. Teams will have game tape to break down his tendencies. I will not be suprized if he is not as good next year.

LOL, I just clicked on this thread to ask, "Will someone please correct the spelling of the word "torch" on this thread? It is giving me seizures to look at it every five minutes." Sincerely, college English major.

You guys get so defensive about this topic and I have no idea why, I gave you your props for being a great team and having a great coaching staff. But no QB in the HISTORY of the NFL has done what he has and it was his rookie season. The numbers and eye test don't lie guys. The torch has been passed.

1) Mahomes is not a rookie. He'll be starting his third season next year.

2) He's 0-2 against the Patriots, once at home, once away, taking 6 sacks and going a Tebow-esque 39-77 in those two games.

3) You don't get the 'torch passed' until you've actually a) Outplayed the other guy and/or b) Actually beat the other guy.

You sound pathetic, and you're being laughed at.

33 seconds in. She is the rational Chiefs fan.

Regards,
Chris

Guys look its not to put shame on the dude, Brady was the best QB to play the game, but I use the past tense, WAS the best. Football is about all 53 players and coaching. If you look at Mahomes he played great in the playoffs, played much better than Brady head to head but his coaching let him down. You guys have to admit that its in a individual sport, if it was then it would be obvious. You put the Hoodie on the Chiefs this year they win by 17 or more. You have a better coached team and its not even close. But outside of Pats fans I think 99% of America can easily see the torch was passed, not as a team but as a individual.

Their window to win by talent disparity because of disproportionate draft success is definitely closing. I think they can structure the contracts around Kelce's prime and keep Mahomes, Hill and Kelce together for another 2-3 years. But I doubt that they will have a better chance in those years than they had this year.

They have 3 more years with Mahomes before he signs his big contract, enough time to get a few rings.

If Mahomes is so wonderful, why didn't his coach have enough confidence in him to go for the win on 2nd and 10 at the NE 22 with 11 seconds left? Instead he went for the tie and let the coin toss decide their fate.

It is his rookie season playing. Like I had posted earlier, he came out as a junior and is only 23 years old ( same as baker mayfied) only played one scrub game at the end that didn't matter with backups and this was his first real ( rookie) season as a pro. No one has EVER come close to what he did.
