Why is it a tough spot. Say this:To be fair, he's in a tough spot, but I also think this isn't a situation that you straddle the fence. He needs to subtly take shots at all of those involved in the attempted framejob.
Harbaugh (diabolical, phony big mouth), Pagano, Grigson (mouth breathing idiot), Irsay (drug riddled BUM), Bisciotti (slimeball), etc, etc.
Can you imgaine being at the Onwers/GM Meetings and being int he same room as these people knowing what they did?
I would have boycotted the whole thing.
Kraft is too nice and way too political for my liking, but I figured he'd back Brady's endeavors here 100%, where I was fearful Goodell's lobbying to shut Brady up might end this. Glad it hasn't.
Take them down.
Incredible. This is like a desperate TV network coming up with more and more ridiculous shows.Oh, no question in my mind Goodell paid off Chin and Parker. No question. Chin's comments were especially disturbing.
The best is morons lecturing us that the appeal was about Goodell's absolute powers, when Chin specifically mentioned the faux evidence in the Wells Report.
He was planting the seed and over-dramatizing the manufactured evidence, so when he ruled like he just did, it wouldn't be a shock as to why. That's why his comments during the appeal were so troubling, not to mention Kessler wasn't even allowed to speak. That means Parker and Chin were paid off.
As chief judge, Katzmann, probably wasn't even approached by Goodell.
The problem is, the Wells Report finding were never supposed to be in play. He slipped up, mainly because he was paid off and didn't care. He got sloppy on the bench with his words.
Whoops!
I mean, this whole thing is a bagjob from front to back and it's about the NFL needing parity badly to get Jacksonville to London asap so Sheriff Goebbels can open up the European market because the N. American is clearly well over-staturated.
The Thurs night games are awful, that even as a diehard, I don't care. That's a tell tale sign right there.
Also, anyone who plays fantasy football is playing it now, so there not getting any more eyeballs on their tv screens any more than what they have with people now playing Draft Kings, etc.
They want more football being played at all times, which means different time zones, to maximize the ROI.
It's sick to think about this. Our team, one that 30 years ago would be celebrated as a dynasty for the ages, is being used and lied about to get Jax to London easier to make them all more money.
I've had this nailed for years and was made fun of for it. Not anymore. Jax will never be sold as a competitive team that can get off the ground and maintain to London investors until they actually show they can be good.
Keep an eye on their games this year. Expect lots of bagjobs on orders of Goodell.
Bennett, the player who flew to London last night to announce their pick, wasn't there by accident.

Hes playing both sides of the aisle but hes not torn.
His loyalty is to the team he owns but his allegiance is to the NFL.
I moved on a long time ago. I just like to *****.A lot of assumptions, suspect his loyalty is to the bottom line of his product..
While he is roundly criticized for what he did(justifiably so)... how do you think that the Owner of the St. Louis Patriots would have handled it?? Or the Hartford Patriots?? I shudder to think that the majority here would be making a choice of the Giants or Jets as their favorite team..
Somewhere along the line it is time to move on, cannot make anything different..

Bob is taking this to his grave.
Exactly. My attitude is as long as Krafty leaves BB to all things football I am indifferent to him.Do not see the value of prolonging something that cannot be taken back, Kraft f..ed up pure and simple, and nothing can make that different.. but as I read this thread see terms like "worse owner ever" makes me scratch my head. Seems as though a very serious case of "NE Pats Myopia" has set in, either that or folks have never heard of Al & Mark Davis, Kroenke or any of the other meddling owners who are happy change venues in favor of chasing the sports dollar at the expense of the fan base..
Goodell did not pay off 2 federal judges good lord.
I don't know about taking it to the grave but I will not let my anger go at least until Brady stops the fight. While things seem slim right now there is still a chance things get righted. And when they do I expect Kraft will give a public mpology. And until then I see no reason to let up on anyone in this fiasco.Do not see the value of prolonging something that cannot be taken back, Kraft f..ed up pure and simple, and nothing can make that different.. but as I read this thread see terms like "worse owner ever" makes me scratch my head. No one forced you to come to this site to cry and whine about the team Kraft owns either. No one forced Bobby to do all the hugging with Goodell. No one forced Bobby to repeatedly say what a great job Goodell is doing. No one forced Bobby going into last year's opener to say "I hope the players who deserve to play, play" instead of saying something like "What the NFL is doing to Tom is a travesty and I darn well expect him to be playing in the opener". And on and on and on.
Krafty is deservedly reaping from the fans what he has sown.
It's not about failure to sue the league. I agree that would have been pointless.
It's about being a spineless pathetic suckup in almost everything he has said and done on this.
Goodell did not pay off 2 federal judges good lord.
