Pagano credits "49ers" for kicking Colts azz

They chose him over Arians. Though I have no love for the latter, he'd be a better choice.

I give Pagano all the credit in the world for beating cancer.

..but as a HC he is a complete moron and I think would have a difficult job holding down the job of floor mopper at IHOP

New Jersey Jete, take notice: this is what happens when a team tanks for a "savior" quarterback.

Good coaches and QBs are hard to obtain.

I don't know from where the myth about Pagano being a good coach came up. I hope he never has to deal with that ****ing disease again but the reality is that the cancer saved his job extending his tenure because Irsay didn't want to fire a guy after he came back from winning cancer and that kind of buy a guy not only that year but another one or 2. The extension he got last year or the year before though has no explanation.

I actually like Pagano and I have seen quite a few videos of him that made me think he seemed like a really genuinely nice man, and I give him all the credit in the world for beating cancer.

That said, I have yet to really see any evidence that he is a competent NFL Head Coach.

To be fair you would have to be one cold hearted SOB to fire a guy after he only coached 4 games because he had to battle cancer.

If you fired him for the wrong reasons.
I think Arians was the superior coach. They set their franchise back a decade by keeping Pagano.

"Keep swinging the axe and chopping the tree"....sometimes the tree falls on you.

Living the midwest, I think the "oh shucks" thing goes over well with fans but I find it a little annoying because it often is smoke and mirrors to cover the true fact that you kind of suck at your job.
