And their defense are ranked accordingly. The Pats defense has been solid this year. It is much better than some of the other iterations the Pats have made the playoffs with. For example it is 10x better than the 2011 defense that went to the SB and lost to the NYG.

No argument vs 2011. I am just saying their competition has been really bad at QB. Didnt even get to face roethlisberger. So its not easy to evaluate them.

Sure, but in the end it will come down to which of the two defenses can stop the opponents offense more often. I am pretty confident that ours would do a better job.

TB and Co would eviserate that Green Bay D. Heck Matt Ryan might next week.

Their D closed out the regular season pretty well, and they look really good right now (and as I type this, they just surrendered a long TD, LOL). Anyway, I think the situation could be similar to how my Colts played very good D during that lone Super Bowl run.

They are much better than their stats would show. If I were a Pats fan, I would want to face Atlanta. Either team could beat the Pats if they play a really good game, but I think your chances would be better against Atlanta. Of course you guys would likely be a 7 point favorites against either.
