He won't be a 90/1000/5td player and they don't need to to be.If Edelman is back to 90-95% of who he was, the offense is immediately and vastly better.

The OP is a solid poster. I think he's trying to reconcile all out the roster moves, losses and players who were injured and coming back the rest of us
Colts with Peyton felt they would win a few without a D , lucky for them they ran into the Grossman ran Bears, which the browns could have beatenLet’s just improve the defense.
Offense was more than good enough to win it last year. We have won it all in the past with inferior offenses (see 2014)
Defense is key.
If that's the purpose then I would respectfully submit that it is far and away too soon to evaluate this roster in any meaningful way.
Wasn't it a Rex Grossman Bears...an even more mediocre QB...??Colts with Peyton felt they would win a few without a D , lucky for them they ran into the cutler ran Bears, which the browns could have beaten
i stand correctedWasn't it a Rex Grossman Bears...an even more mediocre QB...??
I don't think they are done at all.Definitely wonder if all of our big moves are finished, or if a Moss-esque trade will come later in the offseason.
We’re better than the team that lost Super Bowl. A bunch of guys back from IR, new fa’s and a looming draft.I said the defense is better, and the offense might be OK, depending on the play at OT (and additional of a LT). [I ignore the possibility of losing Cooks or ground]
We expect to have production from new draftees and other additions plus we expect some production from those injured who are coming back. The open question is whether this will offset this year's injuries.
It's March 24.I’m very concernproud d with the O-line which was already mediocre
Kind of disappointed, mg. I expected a long and detailed exposition defending the OP. Instead, we got a few sentences that sounded more like the title page of a position paper that had no explanationI said the defense is better, and the offense might be OK, depending on the play at OT (and additional of a LT). There are no games today. We don’t know who is being added in (and after) the draft. We don’t know which of last year’s rookies will emerge.
They are still one of the strongest teams in the league. NE just needs a few breaks when it counts in early 2019.
Way too early to determine the identify of this 2018 team that yet has been finalized, sure some of the loses will be offset by the gains, and those that buy into the system, i will wait till the first preseason game to see what my eyes tell me , we won with0ut gronk, and won with him love #80 but we will survive, wish danny nothing but the best, but i think its premature to push the panic button or pencil them in for another SB appearance
Obviously not done, but wonder if the biggest moves have already been made.I don't think they are done at all.
