The following will become free agents tomorrow. Do we expect contracts with any before then? Surely, Hicks will test the market.

RB Blount (could come back, even if he is a backup)
RB Jackson (toast)
WR Gibson (gone)
OG Wendell
DT Hicks
LB Watson
CB Brown (will likely come back if healthy)
ST Ebner (1 year extension might be announced)
ST Wilson (should be finally gone)

I certainly hope we can bring hicks back, he played great down the stretch. Unfortunately I think he too will see funny money from a defensively focused version of InDUI. La maybe?

I don't think the Pats would have let Siliga walk (who while not a great player is solid enough) if they did not intend to keep Hicks.

Also I doubt he will cost as much as people think. My guess is 2.5M a year.

Unless the patriots KNEW that they would sign Hicks, Siliga was not allowed to walk because of Hicks.
