Sacks given up over the last few years. No wonder Mac "thrived" in year 1. OLine is so crucial.

2021 - 3rd lowest
2022 - 18th
2023 - 24th

The cycle continues. I remember last offseason when the talk was how “improved” the Pats were. They are worse than last season.
Mac sucked and the owner pushed for him to start. The offensive line was mash unit with injuries.

You have to understand why the offense sucked before you can understand how they can improve this season.

Sacks are a QB stat. Pressures are an OL (and scheme) stat. Year 1 Mac was just asked to get rid of the ball quickly and was very protected by play calling, as his responsibilities grew and he was asked to be more of a driver of the offense, he faltered. He was horrendous dealing with pressure the past two seasons. OL wasn't great at pass protection, for sure, but he made them even worse.

I don't understand how our QB situation is improved. All we did was swap Mac for Jacoby. Jacoby never had a winning season and has had losing seasons on much better offenses and all around teams.
Because Brissett is a leader and has been respected greatly everywhere he’s been. It’s a team game.

With a good OL and a powerful running attack, Mac is potentially a better game manager.

But we aren’t there yet.

Great points! Pressure (Times per dropback per reference) has been better than avg the last few years.

Corky was dropping dimes and spittin ryhemes.

The division was in reach. BOB was an offensive mastermind. Non believers were Trolls and Haters.
