Jaylin Polk is going to be a very good WR who contributes this year I am not second guessing his Drafting WR's was a NEED!
Except they have too many WR’s and not a single tackle.

If Polk becomes Bourne or Osborn he wasn’t worth a 2nd round pick.

IF Polks becomes a perennial 900yds WR I won't be complaining because he would be worlds better than what BB Drafted at the position over the years. We are in this position at Tackle because of the collaboration.

I was hoping Mayo and Trent Brown could have worked things out knowing Trent was mostly pissed at BB. I was jeered and chastised for even suggesting that now tell me which Tackle on this Team is better than Trent Brown?? Yeah I didn't think so: It was no secret that we were Drafting a QB at least have decent Protection in place. I wished we had signed Trent Brown to a contract at least for a year and then move on we would be in a much better place than we are now. We'll see Trent Brown Protecting Burrow game one what could have been.
For me at least, the run there is would you rather watch the try hard play mediocre or the potential all pro play mediocre because he's lazy?

A lot happened to this Team last year can't pin it one player I wanted us to resign Trent Brown because I saw what we are currently experiencing coming. The Fact Trent Brown is still better that what we currently have...Wheatley - Anderson and Lowe are all garbage.

Bourne was an UDFA, Osborn was a 5th rounder… that’s where you find 800-900 yard WR’s. Not good enough.

Also BB was here when they drafted their best WR in Demario and another starter in Thornton… so does the collaboration only exist for the good picks and the bad ones Bill made? Sounds legit…

The line could have been great, they have too many WR’s… Polk may not be better than Boutte. 800 yard receivers can be found everywhere.

What they should have done...

LT – Oli Udoh, Patrick Paul, Calvin Anderson,
LG – Sidy Sow, Layden Robinson,
C – David Andrews, Nick Leverett,
RG – Michael Onwenu, Antonio Mafi,
RT – Andrus Peat, Caedan Wallace, Kellen Diesch, Zuri Henry,

Remove: Chukwuma Okorafor (3.1M), Vederian Lowe (0), Jaylin Polk

Add: Oli Udoh (2M), Andrus Peat (450K), Patrick Paul

Difference in dollars: 650K guaranteed in savings

They could have had a powerhouse offensive line this year and actually saved some money. It would have cost them Polk.

The collaboration screwed the pooch. Lowe and Okorafor suck donkey balls.
Coulda, shoulda, woulda. That ship has sailed.

Regarding Bourne and Osborn really?? Osborn never had 700yds Bourne only had 800yds on the dot once. Again if Polk is a perennial 900yds WR his selection is fine with me. Pop Douglas is the best WR on this Team and should get over 1000yds this year if healthy. Polk works well with others he will be a very good complimentary WR. You saw what be did in College with running mate Rome Odunze I am hoping Pop Douglas is our Odunze drawing elite coverage away from Polk who'll let the # 2 CB pay.

Let’s see if Polk beats out Osborn for the starting job first.

And that's why Polk is practicing with the ones see what I did there. I like Boutte too but I think they might gamble on him making the PS. With our schedule having these WR's available on Offense is going to be key ie... Pop Douglas - Thornton - Polk - Osborn - Reagor and Baker. I can see us rollin with those Six early on.

That's already done Polk can play inside and out I think Osborn might an inside guy only.

It's been Thornton and Osborn outside, Demario in the slot with the ones.

Polk has been getting rotated in. Let's wait to see what it looks like in the regular season.

I really hope Tyquan Thornton becomes our DeVonta Smith. Pop Douglas is going to be an automatic completion from the Slot.

Tyquan = David Patten
Demario = Troy Brown
? = David Givens

Looks like Osborn/Baker/Polk in that Givens role...

I don't think you understood what I wrote or it just wasn't written well. I meant between Lowe and Brown. I would find it far less frustrating watching a less talented player give it all then a lazy but much talented player not trying or even give a ****.

Wozzy: Tyquan Potentially should be > Patten and I really liked David Patten. I think Pop is a Edelman in the making a walking First Down.

I understood buddy I just wanted Trent Brown last FA. I know he has his occasional issues but the whole Offense minus RB had Issues last year. When Trent is on he's on and vice/versa.

David Givens was vastly underrated. He was a third down machine. The Patriots used to run 3 yards and a cloud of artificial dust, then three more yards and a cloud of artificial dust and then a pass to Givens for the first down. Again and again.

I am hoping that Polk will be the new Givens.

Until I saw Brown in training camp, I did not realize how huge he is. He looked like a giant compared to everyone else on the line. Maybe not the most nimble giant, but imposing.

BB once said he's one of the Biggest human on the planet.

What they should have done is get a quality LT early in the FA period. It is inexcusable that they did not.

For instance what did Tyrone Smith cost? Not that much. but I guess that the Patriots were saving money, but for what? Certainly not to give Judon a new contract. I don't get it.

Here is the scouting report on Smith "When Tyron Smith is healthy, he is an impenetrable brick wall as a blindside protector, no matter the matchup."
Please indicate where Smith's agent said that he had any interest in playing for the patriots.

It is very easy to say who we should have signed. A we have found out many times this off season, players often take other choices, even if the patriots are interested.
