Seen a lot of kids look great on 7 on 7 but when the pads come on, they turtle.I can see that he's really good Steve he got "it".
Great way to the end the minicamp on a high note.Think that is the end of practice so will stop here , enjoy the evening everyone.
Let’s not forget this kid was touted as the next Justin Jefferson.I love it when the future connects with the future.
Would be amazing for Tyquan to be all be can be but I’m losing home. Two thoughts from posts...
1 - Maye sounds to be behind guys on crossing/lateral routes a lot (even the video of Pops catch on Monday)
Let's hope that's some timing rust and adjusting to NFL WR's, and not a hand-eye weakness
2 - I didn't know TT was out already, but by the sound of it Boutte could push him & Reagor out, and threaten JuJu too.
I think Boutte looks more like old Troy Brown on the field. Not super fast, or lightning quick like Pop, but smooth and finds natural holes.
IF C Wallace is the real deal @ RT our Right side will be really strong Guard is Onwenu's natural position.
Former 6th Rounder who make Second Year Jump not far fetched. Sometimes it's who we are not expecting that surprises with Boutte troubles I am surprised he's still on the roster but they must see something in him.Unless Boutte has suddenly regained the speed and quickness he clearly lost with the injuries I can’t see some June minicamp touchdowns in shorts as anything more than a mirage.
It would certainly be a pleasant surprise if he’s back to the 2021 version. That would make a Boutte/Baker competition for the x spot interesting .
