If I can interrupt the doomsayers for a moment here, tonight is important, regardless of the outcome of the game for the city of New Orleans. Living here for ten years I can tell you that the people here live and die by the Saints (and LSU), and unlike the Pats have never really had any success to go along with their brutal failures. There was a time after Katrina where most of us thought this building would be torn down, a building that is not only a symbol of one of Americas great cities, but the site of our greatest moment as Patriot fans. I've had season tickets now for 4 years, right in the endzone where Adam split the uprights and won our first title, we've played three Superbowls in this building and even though we lost two, as Patriot fans we should, in my opinion at least, have a place in our hearts for this building. I only hope that someday the Saints fans can experience the same joy in winning a title that we felt after those 1-15 and 2-14 years, that is, as long as they don't play us in the Superbowl.
