OT: Steelers line turning on Le'Veon Bell

First game went how I think the Steelers time without bell will go. They have great run blocking and Connor had a fine game, but still a step down from Bell. Connor did well overall, but his fumble was huge and he ran pretty tentative afterwards and less effective. Pitts offense had several chances to put the game away or win it but relying too heavy on Ben and brown down the stretch. Connor had the #’s but they will feel bell’s absense

Lol @ Bell's agent. Conner just put a nail in the coffin of whatever deal he thought he could get.
Bell is holding out to limit his exposure to injury so that he can cash in on a 40-50 million dollar guaranteed deal in March, when he hits free agency. I highly doubt that he expected Pittsburgh to pay more than the 14.5m (120% of last year’s tag) franchise tag. I don’t think we’ve ever seen any team suddenly decide to pay a player more than what the tag was worth.

Whatever GM signs him to that contract should be fired.

Theres no doubt it was, just saying with bell in the margin of error is higher and theyd have probably won this game. That said, connor’s performance a fraction of the price im sure Pittsburgh will gladly take if bell continues to sit. The downgrade will cost them though in the games hes not in (and the games he is playing catch up if he finally reports).

I just chose that number since it’s what Todd Gurley recently got. I would expect Bell to be in the same ballpark.
