Dolphins not interested in T.O. or Brandon Marshall | National Football Post

I think the Dolphins are all set to take Dez Bryant, and this was BEFORE this article.

Take one less team off of the Brandon Marshall sweepstakes.

Who cares where T.O. goes?,he will mean little to that teams offensive plans to whoever decides to throw some money at him
IMO at 36 years old,its time for Owens to retire.

Bill Parcells will never take a WR in the first round.

I think it depends on how much of a need Parcells feels at the position.

I remember a few years ago when everyone said BB would never take an ILB in the first round until Mayo came aboard and how many were sure Belichick would never use a rookie as an immediate starter either.

Never say never,things change.

Henne could be in the running for one of the next generations elite QBs,at least he has the talent to be one
- He needs receivers.

Terry Glenn says hi. Although you can argue that it was Kraft who wanted Glenn if I recall correctly.

Could argue? Parcells wanted Duane Clemons or Cedric Jones, defensive players. Kraft and Bobby Grier wanted Glenn, so they overruled him. That's the reason why Parcells called Glenn 'she', he didn't like the fact he was stuck with him.

Look at Parcells' drafts. Going back to the Giants era, they're all defensive players in the 1st round, besides two franchise QBs (Bledsoe and Pennington), a tackle (Long), Glenn, and a tight end (Becht). But the TE is a special circumstance because the Jets had 4 firsts that year and two of the four were defensive players, Becht was the last pick they had that year.

Belichick's drafting history is a lot more checkered and questionable than Parcells'. He drafted a fullback in the 1st round once.

T.O. is not a suprise at all considering how things went between he and Parcells in Dallas. I'm not really suprised by Marshall either. Parcells is smarter than to give up a first round pick for a guy who is one flick of his wife's arm away from a long-term suspension. With this in mind, I can't see any reason at all why he would go after Dez Bryant considering that he appears to be a pefect mixture of the two.
