Sadly, I knew this was coming. When I talked with my girlfriend about this, she immediately said "there's almost no chance he makes it, severing the femoral artery is a death sentence". She happens to be a healthcare professional, so I took her word for it, and I wasn't too stunned when I saw the report. Absolutely sucks when someone gets cut down in their prime like that, especially with a child needing to be raised, that had helped turn the guy's life around.
