OT Seahawks deflated balls last night. Great new photos

That kickoff one is from a different game.

EDIT - Different Seattle uniform and what looks like Panthers blue on the opposite side of the field.
Regardless what game it is, assuming it is an actual photo....this has to be an on-sides kick given the contact point on the ball is the top half of the ball....plus the proximity of the defender in blue.....and I have to believe a softer ball is easier to control (that's what she said) for such a finesse kick.

Roger ......to vault.....let's start with $5 million to get the investigation launched. And notify Exponent ...lets get the band back together. Pashy....tell ESPN to fire up their Twitter Accounts, we have some deflection and obfuscation work to do. And lets get Podesta on the horn, he can wiggle out of anything.

Wow this makes perfect sense. As far as the punt, that is a game ball not a K Ball so it is the same one Russell Wilson throws.

Nobody seems to be on the case about this on the Bills forum.

They still think IGL is a myth

The thing is, a bunch of them are angry with Sherman and they're cheering for the Pats. I saw this on two Bills forum! I kid you not! So now's the time for a patsfans who has an account on those bills forum to link them to those seahawks deflated balls.

You mean to tell me that the smartest tailgaters in the NFL haven't looked into it? Don't worry, I'm sure they'll put their best and brightest right on it.

Just means they have accepted their fate for the 2016 season...ad maybe still drunk from the game?

Here's the problem for Pats fans here..

Those are all K balls, the ones used soley for kicking, they are not prepared by the teams, and kept by the refs. So no way you could blame any team for their condition. Plus anyone who has ever kicked a football knows, you want them inflated as much as possible.
Last nights game proves the refs were in it from the beginning of the Colts-Pats AFCCG to control the league agenda. LOL....

That's hard to believe. Last year, they had some guy who researched the background of the head official of the first Patriots-Bills game and found the official worked for a firm that did some construction work on Gillette Stadium. The official started working there years after Gillette was complete, but this Bills fan was convinced that was evidence that the official was on the take from Kraft and was intentionally penalizing Buffalo while favoring the Patriots. Now, these guys can't even look at picture of a deflated football? That's disappointing.

I must be obsessed as I remember those posts

"Cheatawks" is a funny name.

The end of that Buffalo game was embarrassing. Two games in a row the cheats have shown that they own the refs. Must be some 32 agenda in effect. Creating a new dynasty by placing the bluebirds in the big bowl.

It goes to show again that ball inflation was never really relevant to the league. They just needed to eliminate Brady for some reason. Brady settled as predicted because he knows really exposing the league would expose the legacy they helped him build, but enough of that.

The Cheatawks like deflated balls. I'll probably go through some stock image site now to see of Brady balls ever looked so flat.

I would think kicking a deflated ball would cause it to travel less, not more.

Sometimes you might want to take some distance off of a kick, it seems to be more of an emphasis in the kick off team to force returns and try to tackle them behind the 25 for better field position

On punts, sometimes its good to take some off of the punt to try and pin them inside the 20.. rather than adjust your power, you could take some air out and kick with the same power and get different results.. sort of like a golfer, they don't change their swing all that much based on their distance to the hole, they just adjust which club they're using to get there

Balls used for kickoffs and field goals are provided brand new out of the box, but I believe the punting ball is a normal game ball

Trying to look at this through the eyes of a Patriots Hater...

Pete Carroll showed that he wasn't above breaking NCAA rules while he was at USC. Why should we believe he's decided to follow the letter of the law while in Seattle? They've been fined 2 or 3 times for breaking the offseason practice rules. Also, while it occurred after he left, USC was caught using deflated footballs during a game. They could have gotten that idea from Carroll.

It's pretty clear: There's a pattern of behavior, the Seahawks are repeat offenders and there's photographic proof. Give me the cellphones from the punter and the equipment guys and I guarantee you there's an incriminating word or phrase in their texts or emails from the past year. The only question now is, how many first round picks will be taken away, how long will the suspension(s) be, and how many millions are the Seahawks getting fined.

The issue is that the Referees are supposed to check them and assure that they are also supposed to be inflated to the correct PSI..

Is it coincidence that it was the SAME referee who was supposedly in charge of measuring the football provided by the Patriots during the AFCCG?
