There is no preventing small attacks like the ones today. Hope they realize what they're asking for.

Don't think it's going to be the large typical war they want either. My guess is we'll eventually stop being PC and end up leveling 'em.

If they choose this type of attack, the only way the Middle East doesn't become a parking lot is if the overwhelming number of "good" Middle Easterners save themselves by killing the radicals themselves.

I know it sounds ignorant, but eventually it becomes survival of the fittest. (And they're not very fit.)

Granted, I may be a bit on edge considering the Seaside attack is local to me and I have family in the city.

But this is what has been the main worry. Larger organized/planned attacks can be prevented. These small things, not so much.

Not the bomb just the way whoever did this has gone about it. Fortunately no one got seriously injured.

3rd explosion was a transformer (charlotteville ) the ones in seaside and chelsea was real

Doesn't have to be directly linked to a "global organization".

Terrorism is about fear. It's about making people feel unsafe in places that they normally take for granted.

That's why the NYC Police Commissioner's statements boggle my mind. It's as if he knows nothing of the history of terrorism over the last 50 years.
