Yes, those 3 long receptions have a lot of value, but so do the multiple incompletions thrown at him on 3rd down. He was directly responsible for multiple drives stalling on 3rd down. Those count too, despite not being visible in the box score.

So basically in your world 1st downs are more valuable than touchdowns. Got it.

If you take away even one of those scores the eagles lose the game. If you directly effect the outcome of the game, than that trumps these all important drives you spoke of.

Darren McFadden deserves that award. How many does Manning need? For God's sake he was the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the Cowboys the week before!

But his laser-rocket arm was on in that game. Give the man his due!
