Here’s what I’ve gathered about Sherman:

• Huge year in 2019, at age 31. He got burned by Hill in the SB, yes, but Hill is a freak, too. Sherman had the second highest PFF grade in 2019 and made the pro bowl.

• Last year, age 32, suffered calf injury in first game of season. Missed about 10 games. When he returned for four games, his PFF grade, yards allowed per target, etc. was similar to the previous year. However, he was inactive for last two gsmes. Might be because 49ers had fallen apart and weren’t in contention.

• This year, he’d be 33. He had that offseason DUI/domestic meltdown. He’s been telling teams he wants a second chance.

I don’t agree with this line of thinking but it’s probably some belief that AB not being able to control his criminal behavior and getting cut is what tipped the 2019 season into the miserable slog it was for Brady and the offense.

Yea that's dumb. AB sent a text. You have guys that have been criminally charged or under felony investigations that are still playing. That was the NFL again trying to neuter the Pats and EarlyBird Bob caving in again.

I don’t ever remember hearing this quote. Is this a private but on the record quote that Bill said to Seth? Holy hell no wonder Brady is pissed over this book. And no, Seth would never ever attribute a fake quote to Bill by name.

This is what makes it worse…Bill was not saying what Wickersham is implying. It was specifically from a roster/strategy standpoint.
