OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Which would be a better matchup for the Bucs? Rematch against the Rams in LA or against the Cards in Arizona? I think the Cards.

Actually Tampa Bay is the worst franchise by win totals, but that was a super team when Brady got there I guess, but anyway. A great enough QB will make a team the best they can be no matter what the situation is.

Tampa was not a superbowl team when Brady got there. It was a 7-9 team that hadn't been since 2002.

Do you really think the product is worse? I think the games have been great this year, even the Thursdays.
I don't enjoy the games as much as I used to. On every big play I'm forced to reserve my excitement until I see that there's no penalties, which is most often the case.

Bad news for the Bucs. WFT released their kicker BlewIt.

With Woods now out for the season, do you want to change your choice, or will you still be sticking with the Cardinals?

This ^

There have been 4-5 recent games where I’ve started bracing for that yellow flag indicator on TV, after almost every big play by the team that appears to be getting screwed.

Recent games: Bucs-Saints, Bears-Steelers, Dolphins-Ravens. Just horrendously bad…the games actually do seem fixed, and I rarely suggest something so extreme. Florio is still blogging about the Bears-Steelers game and all the inconsistent, impossible to miss bad calls that only favored the Steelers.

Anytime there’s a big play to a completely wide open receiver I just assume the flag for an illegal pick play is coming.

Uh yeah I change my choice. Wow.

I thought you would, but I wasn't sure how much faith you have in the Cardinals.

Terrible blow for the Rams. That is a season altering loss.

The Rams went from "Sure, he'd be a great piece help put us over the top" to "Son of a *****! If he can't get up to speed, we're in trouble".

FootballOutsiders odds as of right now for the Bucs to be in the NFCCG, win it, and win the Super Bowl.

20% odds to win the SB in week 10. LOL. That's dominance.

I made the prediction last December that they would not lose another game the rest of the way. This year right now I don't know if I'm ready yet to make the same prediction (lol it's only week 10) but I'm getting close.

They should wipe the floor with the WFT and Giants. Let's see where they're at after that and the injury situation.

Lol.

They look really smart today for getting him.
McVay must be pulling his hair out. What are the chances that both the Niners and Seattle are having down seasons while the Rams ramped up only to have the Cards have this break out year.

It's been a wild year all across the league. I'd actually feel more comfortable about things if everything was going mostly chalk.
