7th in points scored last year. 27th this year. So yes, we were a lot better with him.
I think this year would be a lot better with Brady but to be fair points scored take into account defensive and special teams scores. It would be relevant to compare the offensive numbers only

Seems like Tom Brady could benefit from a GOAT head coach.

.
Like Cam is benefiting from him? -5 TD to int ratio. 27th in league scoring. One of the lowest QB ratings in the league.

Is that the huge benefit the GOAT head coach brings to his starting QB?

That doesn’t mean we were a good offense last year. We weren’t. Our former QB had a lot to do with that shortcoming.

Take away Brady and we’re competitive most weeks. That’s been proven.

But take away Bill from the 2020 Patriots and we’re “competing” with the Jets for last overall. No question about it.

We were still producing points, which is the goal of the offence. While it wasn’t as consistent or as great as in prior years, it was a hell of a lot better than this year.

Take away Brady and we have a losing record for the first time in 20 years as of right now.

Probably wouldn’t be far off from one if Brady stuck around. The great defense that helped him to 12-4 last year is long gone.

Didn’t look like it in the Titans game. Nor the last 8 games of the season where Brady passed for over 300 yards only once and that was garbage time stat padding. Under 225 yards passing 6 times. Sub 80 passer rating in the last 8 games of the season.

Also long gone is the make shift offence line we had last year which gave us no running game and gave Brady no time to pass.

And this year if we had the same running game and OL as last year we are probably 2-9 because it is our running game and OL who carries this team offense. Last year even if he wasn’t GOAT like Brady was the offense.

The way Cam is being play called by McDaniels is bizarre, so hard to judge. When they're in the red zone Josh never even gives Cam any passing plays. I consider the season for Cam hard to judge anything given a month lost to covid recovery and half the season having to deal with McD forcing Harry and Sony.

Other teams have them completely figured out. That's what tape will do.

Through 11 games last year (subtracting points scored by the defense) the Pats offense scored 226 points

Through 11 games this year (subtracting points scored by the defense) the Pats offense has scored 215 points

So gonna have to disagree with you on that one if we are strictly talking about the amount of points the offense has put up.

And one thing overlooked in this is last year Brady had Edelman all year. Edelman has missed the last 5 games and would have helped in games against Buffalo and Houston

I don’t know, we’re still mixing and matching a lot due to injuries. No Newhouse at least though, I’ll give you that.

BB is growing an arm in the lab so that it can replace Cam’s arm to hit simple short slants and hit receivers in stride. Stick around for while, it’s going to be great when implemented.

edit: Sorry, I didn’t get all of your dogshit analysis into the quote.

The OL is much better this year compare to last year. It is not even close

So when it goes good (Brady) he’s benefiting from Belichick. When it goes bad (Cam) it’s McDaniels fault. Got it.

Against a much harder schedule than last year. They played the very same NFC Least that everyone laughs at now.

It was a symbiotic relationship. It’s very clear with Brady’s relationship with Arians at the moment. Belichick and Brady thrived off each other even with lack of talent. You can’t really compare it with any other type of relationship other than maybe MJ-Jackson.
