The more I see Brady making great plays this season that were very few and very far between last season and the more I see how Meyers is more than an adequate NFL receiver I lose more and more respect for Tom Brady. He quit on the Patriots last season. He quit on the fans last season.

Please stop.

1. Jacobi Meyers was a rookie last season. Most WRs, even the good ones, typically produce far less in their rookie years when compared to year 2. Meyers himself would tell you he's much better this year than last.

2. If Brady "quit" last season, he wouldn't have been so openly vocal about how the offense needs to improve; even when they were 8-0. Never mind how awful the O-line was.

It does bug me that this happened in the 3rd round of the 2017 NFL draft:

83rd pick Derek Rivers (New England)
84th pick Chris Godwin (Tampa Bay)
85th pick Antonio Garcia (New England)

Of course, we didn't complain about giving up a 1st rounder for Brandon Cooks. So, using your first pick in the draft on another WR--that would have been a surprise.

Well the Ronald Jones 98 yard TD makes it moot, but TB should have challenged the spot on the punt. The 3rd Panther in on the play clearly slid his feet into the end zone while and touched the ball.
