I have no inclination to explain a question you answered yourself. The warm weather team is the road team...would you ask why teams on the road tend to win less than the home team? If you can find a trend that it’s only the cold weather and literally nothing else that contributes to this overused and completely misunderstood stat, maybe there’d be a need for discussion. Also, you mentioned the wind - I already stated that would be the only weather phenomenon in this game that would matter. Lambeau being 30 degrees at kickoff is not going to be a factor. End of.

The Bucs are definitely better at stopping the run (1st vs 14th). At the same time, the Packers have the better pass D (7th vs 21st).

On offense, the Bucs are the better passing team (4th vs 11th), while the Packers are the better running team (8th vs 28th).

If I may be so frank, you're looking at the wrong numbers a little bit. The Packers have done one thing incredibly well all year, and that is possess the ball and shorten the game. Their PPD (points per drive) is 3rd highest in the last 18 years, just behind the 2007 Pats and 2018 Chiefs. Why they have scored less is because they are doing longer, slower drives and milking the clock, particularly with their run game when possible. This has caused their offense to look a bit worse than it is, cause they are scoring less than you would expect an offense of their caliber too, but it has also made their D look better than it is.

For instance, they are 13th in total yards given up to the run in YPG, but they are actually 21st in YPA given up. While the Bucs are first in both metrics. Likewise GB is 7th in YPG given up in passing while the Bucs are 21st, but in YPA the Bucs are 11th and GB is 12th. However I personally perfer defensive passer rating as the better stat. In that one GB is 13th and the Bucs are 18th, but only seperated by 3.2 points. That being said, I would rather have the Bucs pass D over the Packers right now cause their finally healthy again. Not that they are top tier, but I think they have better depth across the board. They don't have a true shut down corner the caliber of Alexander, and their safety duo isn't nearly as good, but it is serviceable and their #2 and #3 CBs are much better than GB's IMO. Which is what matters the most in match ups with good offenses. Having a few star players is great, but not having a clear weakness is just as important. GB's best D players are probably better than TB's, but i'll give TB a strong edge in the other 4-11 spots or so. And their top 3-4 players aren't much worse than GBs too boot.

It's best to announce it now. While you'd like to keep GB guessing, that also keeps your team guessing. The good thing about it is that it is one less excuse for Rodgers homers.

Last game Alexander was pretty much able to take out Evans and that should happen again. Brady targetted Gronk/Godwin who got the majority of his yards. I think we will see a similar thing again, but this time with more Brate an Less Gronk. I also think they will lean on the RBs more in the passing game, they weren't really a factor with 3 catches on 4 targets for 14 yards. Jones and Fournette are better at that now then they were in week 6 (and Fournette didn't play). This time I think we will see more throws at Evans as they really will need more than 1 catch from him this time without Brown in there. They can get by with him getting 4 for 50 yards on 5-6 attempts, but I don't see them winning with him getting only 1-2 catches for less than 20 yards. I think Brady needs to hit 300 yards to win, and Evans needs to be part of it, or Godwin needs to absolutely explode.

All I can see here is that the Bucs have played 3 games since 2000 where temperature is under 35 degrees. No results though

If you narrow it down to just 2016, then it says there's one game meeting the criteria but I don't think there is. I think it's only two total, at Packers in 2000 and 2011.

Miller looked good early on before they brought in AB. I think he can be a pretty good player for them.

On one hand, they don’t really need him if Miller and Johnson step up and Godwin finds his hands again. Plus, Evans is usually only ever locked up by Lattimore so he should hopefully have a big game.

Usually I don't jump into other people's conversations, but you're being rather dismissive and abrasive to what is an often debated talking point. Maybe you should consider the possibility that even if you're correct, it's better to shake a conciliatory hand than to slap it away on something like this.

And to be totally fair, there really isn't any need to point out if someone is being defensive or not, whether it is true not, as it often only escalates things. It's one of those terms people sometimes use without realizing it gets a rise out of certain people. For instance I use to tell people to 'calm down' when I was younger, but realized it would often have the opposite effect. It comes across even worse in text I find. It can often be an unintentional thing, so it's worth keeping in mind. And i don't have the best memory myself so it's a good reminder for me too.

They all looked good vs the Saints. The Bucs have plenty of options. They blew out the Packers without AB in week six. This game will come down more to how much pressure they can get on Rodgers who will be missing his LT. That is huge.

How do you explain that warm weather/dome teams do not have a successful record in playing at cold weather venues, specifically Lambeau Field? I understand the concept that the better team/home team has an advantage, but in this case, you very rarely, if ever see a warm weather or dome team going into a cold weather site and win. Just something to think about and if the wind picks up and it's cold, that will definitely affect any passing game.

Tampa just beat beat Washington two weeks ago in 35 degree weather and 10 mph winds; the game at Lambeau is supposed to be 28 degrees and 10 mph winds.

The LA Rams won in Seattle two weeks ago with temperatures dropping at night into the high-30s; then the Rams lost to the Packers.

The Colts played in Buffalo two weeks ago and lost 27-24 in a game where they almost came back; it was competitive.

I think maybe the mystique of Lambeau field the Packers history is more of what's driving this, but moreso the Packers winning history and association with cold versus the Bucs losing history and association with heat.

20-30 degree weather isn't even considered really cold; this isn't like a negative wind chill, 25 mph wind forecast.

That sucks about Antonio Brown, but they may be the best positioned team in the NFL (including teams eliminted) to soften the blow of losing him. But if they play Ronald Jones a lot, they're going to lose badly.

Jaire Alexander held Evans to 1 catch for 10 yards the last time. if the Bucs are going to win, it has to be a Godwin/Miller/Gronk game.
