Lions IR #2 pick…Detroit made room on the roster for #1 pick WR Calvin Johnson, who signed overnight, by placing QB Drew Stanton, the team’s second round pick, on injured reserve in the process ending the former Michigan State star’s season before it began. Stanton had surgery to clean up some cartilage in a knee earlier this week.

Heck they might have been able to use that guy.

Too bad for the kid...he should use it as a chance to learn every thing he can and be as ready as he can when he is healthy.
