Lions ownership wasting no time capitalizing on the team's success:

Hopefully they don't renew.

I also don't view a choke on Thanksgiving as a "success".

This kind of sucks:
"There wasn’t even a letter (explaining the price increase) this year, there was just, here’s your renewal form kind of email," she said. "In the past there’s always been a letter signed by (team owner) Sheila (Hamp) or (team president) Rod Wood … and it bragged about how we had some of the lowest prices in the league. This isn’t how you treat family. This is not how you would."

That's just pure greed after the decades of suffering they put their fans through. They haven't even won a playoff game yet and I doubt they will this year. Sure they're 10-4 but their schedule is pathetic.

Tough times in America

All the years of suck ... Lion's fans never view success as a reality.
Now they will pay more for the delusion ... I hope they do well this playoffs.

Well im sure the Ford family needs the money... Gotta keep up with the Jones's, the Kraft's, the Teppers, the Mara's, the Rooney's etc... being a billionaire aint cheap these days...

For all those bad years the fans suffered through and supported the team, they should give the fans a break.

It’s funny that a guy who buys tickets to a game considers himself the owners family. People are strange.

Do the Fords charge $5 for cup of tap water like another owner who requires employees to refer to him as Mr. _______.

Upper level Carolina Panthers tickets were going for 45 cents last game.

Move there and have money left over in your pocket.

Ford just took it in the shorts on their battery F150.

You can buy them for a song.

Seems awfully fast. They were bad a season and a half ago. Turning it around late last year to ALMOST make the playoffs, but not quite, and then looking good this year so far a few weeks away from the playoffs, is not really success. They haven’t even earned a playoff game, much less won one. For all we know they could lose their last 3 and miss the playoffs.

just a write off/deduction to them...
I love these king of comments.
As Jerry said to Kramer, do you even know what a wrote off is?

You are implying that a write off is a positive thing.
In order to “write off” you have to lose the money.
You save what the tax would have been on the loss.
So in a 36% tax bracket you lose $100 million and it saves you $36 million in taxes. You still lost $64 million.
It’s like saying better to be poor so you don’t have to pay taxes on all that money you would have made.

Don't buy them. Pretty simple.
