OT Joe Flacco

That's why I'm rooting for Bengals, other AFC West teams to get the wild card spot.

The Ravens are the only team in that conference I want NO part of in the playoffs, home or away. Fortunately they're struggling right now and the last month of heir schedule is murders row.

I don't understand this notion. The only reason the ratbirds gave us trouble is because of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. They're gone. The only thing we have to worry about is Harbaby whining and instigating another "gate".

wait, your saying that Flacco isn't that good after the Ravens lost of their murderer linebacker and got rid of their wife beater running back.....can't Harbaugh cry about that too?

Cept Peyton has never had a post season near as good as Flacco did in 2012.

I think Flacco is more like Eli. Average to poor regular season and good playoffs.

How is it even possible to throw just 5 in 7 games in this modern era?

Russell Wilson is in the same boat. I guess the answer is $20m buys less than it used to

Did they have Reed or Lewis in the 14 matchup? That sure wasn't a cakewalk now, was it?

I don't want to see the Bengals again - we'll win, but Burfict will make damn sure we don't come out of that game intact.

Neither Ray Lewis or Ed Reed were with the Ravens for the 2014 playoffs, yet I think any reasonable person would say the Ravens gave the Patriots problems in that game.

Whatever! That double pass doesn't work against Ed Reed. That 4 o-lineman doesn't work against Ray Lewis. They knew how to stop our scheming.

You all being "worried" about the Ratbirds is a bunch of nonsense.

So you're telling me that win was a cakewalk? I mean we weren't in a 14 point deficit twice in that game or anything.

Must suck not being able to chuck it up and get a PI every throw now

7 games
5 passing TD's
6 INT's
75.4 Passer rating

5 passing TD's in 308 attempts

Another key stat For Flacco in 2016:

$22.5 million

Flacco is getting crucified in this thread, and deservingly so...he stinks.

But it's painful when I look up his career numbers vs New England

16 TD 4 INT 92 passer rating

What I'm saying is, you guys are layering two different era's together. That game wasn't a cakewalk. But that happens, it's the playoffs. But this "we want no part of them in the playoffs" is coming from all the other tough games we had against them in the past. It's wrong to lump that 2014 game with the pre-2013 games. 2013 game, 2014, 2016 game. This is all new. We'll see what the ratbirds can do. But lumping anything from before the 2013 game, I don't understand why you would do it. The biggest issue the Reed/Lewis ratbirds defense gave us was that they could handle all our scheming.

Name one other team that's given us that hard of the time in the divisional round since 2011. Denver, Houston, Indy, KC? All were pretty much in our control the whole time

The ravens defense still look's decent at times. I still wouldn't want to play them in the playoffs.
Playing the Ravens is always a bad experience. Even if the Pats blow them out by 40 points, us fans will have to endure weeks of Harbough's inevitable whining protests, and accusations of "illegal sort of things".

So what if the ratbirds gave us a hardtime in 2014. But Ray Lewis is gone. Ed Reed is gone. Different era. Can't mash up that era together. We beat them without Gronk in 2013, had a competitive game in 2014. that's all it is. One game we won 44-7(yes I know late TD''s after game was over) so it was more like 30-7. and then the 2014 game where it was really competitive. That's the only history we have with them. That's all we should judge the ratbirds on. No need to be like "That's the one team we don't want to face in the playoffs"

But Flacco does have a history of playing well against us in the playoffs.

He plays well against us because he has enough time to make a ham sandwich back there, we never put any pressure on him. Flack sucks when he is under pressure

Eh, I'll give you 2014.(but he still threw a stupid pick to Harmon in the end) but when he played us in 2009-2012 our D sucked. I think we can handle that overrated QB this season.

Edit: @Joey007 Now that I've thought about it. He was doing his jump ball joe crap in that game too. He got Browner good! So I change my mind, f*ck Jump Ball Joe. The dude sucks, and when the game was on the line he threw it to Torrey Smith to try to get a PI. He even said he knew Harmon was cheating to Torrey Smith's side. The dude sucks and only thrives on trying to get a PI.
