OT: Jets at Bengals - Who are you rooting for?

Bengals. I don't want there to be even a ghost of a chance that the JESTS could knock the Patriots out of the payoffs.

In a slighty imperfect universe where the Pats absolutely had to lose out, I would not mind the Bengs in the SB. Although I'd probably join Al Quaeda or something life ending were the Jets to make it to the SB, I really think that the Jets will beat up the Colts physically were they to play regardless of outcome. So, I am a Jets fan today.

The only team I hate more than the jets is the colts. If the jets have a chance to beat the colts (over the bengals) then I will pull for the jets tonight.

Well, statistically, three of the four teams that made it to the conference finals last season had the top three defenses.


Pittsburgh
Baltimore
Philadelphia


The top three this season are the Jets, Green Bay and Baltimore. Cincinnati is fourth. New England finished eleventh and San Diego was sixtieth. The Patriots have to hope that they beat Baltimore. Because it'll come down to offense versus the Chargers. Neither team will stop the other's offense. Brady's still good enough to overcome the lost of Welker. From thereon, I think the train stops... Unless the Jets can eliminate both the Bengals and Colts as I'd said a while back.

The jets were lucky to be given a playoff spot. Now it is time for them to exit. BTW, I usually root against wildcards unless we are the wildcard.

I want the Jets - we shouldn't feel threatened by them ever. Instead this would increase the AFC east competition and would help drive the Patriots harder. I also dislike the Bengals and their fans .....

Root for the Bengals - the Colts will be coming out flat and unfocused next week with a LONG layoff, and the Bengals have the best shot of the 2. NO way the Jets beat the Colts with that rookie QB.

GO BENGALS! And as bad as Cincy's pass offense has looked lately, I have a gut feeling it'd show up against Indy.

I think the Bengals play up to their competition (and down to it in the case of Oakland). I think they have a very legit shot to knock off Indy.

The Jets, of course. I'd love to watch Pats-Jets for the AFC championship. It would be a great game and add to a twice a year rivalry that I really enjoy.
