OT Jete release Le'Veon Bell

Garafolo says Bell can double dip by taking termination pay on his Jets contract. That would make money a factor again, despite the wide belief that he'd just sign for minimum salary.

So, why not Tampa? Fournette isn't staying on the field. TFB really relishes a back that can catch like James White or Kevin Faulk. Bell used to be that guy, no? Jete / Gaze just didn't know how to feed him. Maybe Arians doesn't want the headaches, but you'd think he'd be OK for one year, no?

I think the termination pay rules specifically exclude guaranteed salary, so I think Garafolo is wrong here.

In all seriousness I don't know how he still has a job. Look at his former/current Dolphins in the league, Tannehill, Kenyan Drake, Davante Parker, Mincah Fitzpatrick, Mike Gesicki, Damien Williams all played under Gase at some point and performed much better without him. Combine that with the numerous former players who have negative things to say about him and the fact that Darold looks as bad and as lost as ever it is a shock that he wasn't canned before Quinn or O'Brien.
Gase will be blackballed after his stint with the Jets so I hope he's managing his money well. Here's a funny video of how bizarre his is.

Here's another good one:

So apparently Bell is in KC for a physical...

This is an old post from last night and no no trusted sources have corroborated this. The guys Twitter account is set to private. Who breaks big news on a private Twitter account? If you go on the Chiefs message boards, many Chiefs fans have never heard of the guy. Not saying that he won't sign with KC but I'm not sure if this is true.

Signs with KC per Schefter

Well, sh*t. Not surprising but not great news either. Understandable why he would choose them, however, he may find that running behind that KC OL to be a struggle. They are a mess right now.

he should’ve taken the original Steelers deal. Staying with Pittsburgh would’ve made him an Hall of Famer.
Now it’s Super Bowl or bust.

You were saying?

What a loser

He's better in KC than Buffalo for us. We won't be seeing KC again and if we do he won't be the difference for them. It is a nice insurance though in case their rookie goes down or vice versa.
In a way, yes. But our strength is our secondary and Bell pairs with Mahomes and EH creates a pick your poison.
